On November 22, 2017, an initiative assembly was held and RIVERSIDE Zagreb Golf Club was founded. It's Statute was proposed and accepted and a d formal document was made to request the entry into the Register of Associations of the Republic of Croatia. At the same session, Vlatko Cvrtila was elected as president, Željko Marić as vice president, and Martina Čanaki as secretary. The association was registered on December 14, 2017, and the club was admitted to the Croatian Golf Association on December 21, 2017. years.

It was stated: Club's mission and vision is popularization and promotion of golf, especially among young people and everyone else interested in playing this sport. One of the club's most important activities will be the establishment of a Golf Academy where Zagreb school children will have the opportunity to learn the basics of golf for free with the aim of creating a new generation of golfers.
